Match Day Announcement

Posted on May 11, 2009

During this time of economic strain, many agencies in St. Clair County have experienced a large increase in the demand for basic human needs such as food, shelter, clothing and medical care.

We are here to help!  The Community Foundation has dedicated $20,000 in matching funds to help promote the critical work of the non profit organizations in our area.

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on June 4th anyone can visit our website www.stclairfoundation.org/matchday or come to the Community Foundation offices at 516 McMorran Blvd., Port Huron to make a donation to a participating non profit organization providing assistance with basic human needs in St. Clair County.  All checks should be made out to the Community Foundation of St. Clair County.  Please indicate which non profit you are supporting in the memo line.

The Community Foundation will match 50% of all donations between $20 and $1,000 while funds last.  Anyone can give!

Funds will be distributed at the Community Foundation Annual Dinner on June 11, 2009.
