K-2 Reading Success Grant Opportunity

Posted on January 9, 2012

The Community Foundation, through its Education Task Force is seeking proposals that address the issue of increasing reading success among pre-kindergarten through second grade students in St. Clair County that include a parent involvement component.

The Community Foundation will offer grants to address this issue specifically focused on books and the use of iPads.

Any school in St. Clair County serving the Pre-K through 2 student population will be eligible for funding consideration. We will accept one funding request per school, providing that each application has the signed approval of the school principal and appropriate district approval. This will be a competitive proposal process, and it is likely that not all applicants will receive funding.

View more information, including application and guidelines.

Applications are due by February 10, 2012.
