At-risk Students Receive Books

The Women’s Initiative in collaboration with local partners will offer eight Family Read Nights in St. Clair County. “The events provide a positive family evening with a focus on reading and include crafts, a book walk, prizes and celebrity readers. Every child attending receives at least one free book to take home.” said Kim Harmer, Chair of the Family Read Night program. All events begin at 5:30 pm.
