Denise Brooks

Denise Brooks has been elected to join the Board of Trustees of the Community Foundation of St. Clair County. She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Heather Bokram. Denise is the executive director of the YMCA. Prior to that she was the director of the Port Huron Hospital Foundation. Denise and her husband David are active in several local organizations and programs, and Denise has had leadership roles in the Foundation’s Women’s Initiative. She also has family ties to the Foundation. The Walter K. Brooks Fund was created in memory of her father-in-law and provides significant annual support to the Port Huron Museum.
