Community Foundation’s Algonac Office

Thanks to Beth Engel and Seaway Bank, the Community Foundation now has an “office“ in Algonac.  The office is located inside the bank at 900 Pte. Tremble Rd., Algonac and will be staffed approximately one day each week by Lynn Borg, vice president of the Community Foundation of St. Clair County.

“We work extensively in this community through our grant making programs and we plan to grow our presence downriver over the next few years with the expansion of our education initiative and the Access to Recreation projects,” stated Lynn Borg.  “It will be very beneficial to be able to work here in Algonac on a regular basis.  The Community Foundation is very grateful for Beth’s work on our behalf.”

The Community Foundation is working with the City of Algonac to renovate the public pool and build a new bath house.  When the project is complete, both will be accessible to individuals of all abilities.
