Individually, women have always taken an interest in helping others. The Women’s Initiative provides an excellent opportunity to pool resources and help others on a larger scale. Collectively, we can do more than we can do individually.
The Women's Initiative creates a bridge between those who want to help and those that need help. Pooling our resources gives us a stronger voice and together we can have a greater impact on our community.

Current Projects
- Building the Women's Initiative Endowment Fund.
- Dental Care for uninsured or underinsured children.
- School supplies for children from low income families.
- Reading programs in at-risk schools.
- Partnering with Citizens First to introduce charitable giving to 5th grade students.
- Promoting and engaging children, youth and adults in philanthropy.

Women's Initiative Donor Levels
Levels include gifts and pledges to the Women's Initiative Endowment Fund and for special projects administered by the Women's Initiative such as Back to School.
- Platinum Circle: $25,000
- Diamond Circle: $10,000-$24,999
- Gold Circle: $5,000-$9,999
- Emerald Circle: $1,000-$4,999
- Silver Circle: $500-$999
- Contributing Member: Donors wishing to make a contribution at any level.
- Legacy Circle: Lifetime gift through your estate.
Checks can be made payable to Community Foundation of St. Clair County with Women's Initiative Endowment Fund noted on the memo line.
