Safe Horizons Endowment Fund

This designated fund provides annual operating support to Safe Horizons, which provides housing and emergency shelter to women, children and families in St. Clair County. Safe Horizons operates the only shelter for abused women and children in the county. Beginning in January of 2007, all gifts made to this fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Citizens First Foundation, up to a $50,000 maximum. The Community Foundation has also donated $50,000 to assist in the creation of this new fund.
