Algonac Clay Community Fund

The Algonac Clay Community Fund is a broad community based fund that supports special programs, projects and organizations in the Algonac and Clay communities.

The Fund is governed by a committee of local residents including Cindy Babisz, Don Drake, Beth Engel, Bill Gratopp, Michael Hulewicz, Bill Jennings, Linda Minter, Patricia Dare Welch, Dennis Guiser, Mike Pellerito, Bill Walker, Jodie Kurrie and Gary Tuzinowski.

In 2006 the Algonac Clay Community Fund was able to give away grants to the Cub Scouts, Algonac High School, and the Algonac-Clay Library. The grant to the Cub Scouts supported the Algonquin Woods Clean-Up Project. Algonac High School’s Audio Visual Production Class was able to purchase some equipment and the Library made improvements to their Community Meeting Room.
